Which phone models doesn't support jpeg images?

Post  Adeesh on Wed Oct 03, 2007 11:46 pm

I am working on a application in which i have to display images. Initially i was using png images but size of png images are more than the jpeg images. And one main reason for shifting is that at server end time taken to scale png image is greater than the jpeg image. So to save scaling time and network bandwidth i have to switch from png images to jpeg images. Can anyone please tell me which phones models doesn't support jpeg images?
I am using MIDP 2.0 and CLDC 1.0 for my application..

Hi adeesh,

Most of the MIDP2.0 phones supports jpeg image. It depends upon your target handsets. you may check their specifications before u start working but jpeg should be no issue if u r looking for MIDP2.0 phones...
