Http Connection in Nokia 6680

Hi
I have developed an application using http connection.Due to the poor network(service provider...) connection,my request to the server is broken and I am getting a response code as 503,504....I dont want to break the connection.It there is any possibility to give timings for the http to try the connection again and again,until it reach successful status. Is there is any option to do that.I am getting this problem only in Nokia 6680.Nokia 6600,6230i all are working fine

There is no provision in MIDP to set timeout for a HTTPRequest. So u have no way but to put you logic to get it done.......
Use while loop until u get the required response code.
